Born on September 8, 1957, in Newberry, she was a daughter of Christine Wicker Fulmer and the late Willie Fred Fulmer. She was a former employee of Owens-Corning in Aiken and a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Aiken. Surviving in addition to her mother of Newberry is her son, Jason Corey Jones of Newberry; daughters, Christy Kay Jones and Leigh Anne Jones both of Aiken; brothers, Keith Fulmer of Newberry and Ronnie Fulmer of Duncan and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ronnie Powell. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6350 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. Active pallbearers: Brice Cockfield, Jalen Fulmer Cockfield, Robert Baughman, Scott Cockrell, Jamie Borden and Duane Collins.
