Through his father, Harry Wilcox is a descendant of several Revolutionary War veterans, including Capt. George Herkimer (sometimes referred to as Colonel), who with his more famous brother, General Nicholas Herkimer , fought in the Revolutionary War. Harry also is related to George I. According to NY Marriage Registers on Familysearch.org, he married a Jennie Mullen and had four children, Percy Chappell and Henry Lester (who both died as infants) and Gladys and Margery. He is buried with his two infant sons and his mother and grandparents, but not sure yet where his wife is buried.
