Early in life she was converted and at the time of her death she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Rogers, who was in a car wreck about two and a half years ago in Hayti, Missouri, apparently had been in better health recently than at any time since the wreck.
She is survived by Four sons, Lewis and wife Louise of Colony, Oklahoma, O.E. of Torrance, California, J.W.and wife Pat of Wilmington, California, and Forrest Gene of Apache, Oklahoma.
Three daughters, Velma Phyillaier and husband Paul of Carnegie, Oklahoma, Ima Lois Mott and husband Gordon of Las Alamos, New Mexico, and Thelma Modene Taylor and husband Edsel of Eakly, Oklahoma.
Three brothers, Blaine Thompson of Lockney, Texas, Jesse Thompson of Los Angeles, California and Wayne Thompson of Hayti, Missouri.
Four sisters, Myrtle Barnes and Mary Thompson Webster of Steele, Missouri, Flora Shields of Chickasha, Oklahoma and McKinley Sullavan and husband Elton of Eakly, Oklahoma.
He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and other relatives.
Services were held at 2:30pm Sunday March 11, 1962 at the First Baptist Church in Carnegie, Oklahoma, with Rev. W.F. Crow and Rev. Garland Howard officiating.
Pallbearers were Orbie Wilburn, Ralph Burton, C.B. Sims, Oral Buie, Dale Brogan and Volon Montgomery.
