Funeral services for Mrs.Rudolph Bunge were held from the Community Church in Elkhart Lake Saturday. Mrs. Bunge died at her farm home near Kiel Wednesday. She was 68 years of age.
She was born on February 1, 1882 in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kaiser. She was married to Rudolph Bunge on 18th November, 1893. The couple lived in Plymouth for 16 years and then moved to the present farm home in the town of Rhine. They observed their golden wedding anniversary on November 18, 1949.
Their survivors include six daughters, six sons. 24 grandchildren. The children are: Mrs. Milton Schmahl, R.1 Elkhart Lake; Mrs. Louis Bunge, R. 4 Chilton; Mrs. LeRoy Brill and Mrs. Milton Bebermeier, R.2, Kiel; Mrs. Roy Popp,Sheboygan Falls; Mrs. Milton Klemme, Elkhart Lake, Carl of Milwaukee, Milton and Edgar of Elkhart Lake, Henry and Robert of Kiel and Reuben of Newton.
A sister, Mrs. Martha Hacker of Kiel, and three brothers, Henry and Robert of Kiel and Philip of Sheboygan also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
