Mrs. Edna B. Dahlstrom

HUNTINGDON -- Services for Mrs. Edna B. Dahlstrom, 98, grandmother of Mrs. Edna George of Houtzdale, were held Dec. 1 in Huntingdon with interment in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Martha's Furnace R.D.

Mrs. Dahlstrom, who resided with a daughter, Mrs. Alice Coffman of Huntingdon R.D. 1, died Nov. 28 at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Mrs. Dahlstrom was born Dec. 28, 1894, in Wisconsin, a daughter of James and Della Ingram. She was married first to Abraham Oran Burns who died in 1931 and then to Arvid Dahlstrom who died in 1979.

She had been employed at the Tyrone Laundry for a number of years. She then worked at Reliance Manufacturing in Tyrone from which she retired after 27 years of service.

Mrs. Dahlstrom, the last surviving member of her family, was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.

She is survived by Mrs. Coffman (Mrs. George's mother), four sons, another daughter, 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 36 great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Melbourne, Fla.
