Mrs. Clara Milfs, an aged resident of this city, died yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Litchfield Hospital where sheunderwent an operation. She was born in /Tennessee in 1860, making her at the time of her death, 70 years,, 1 month and 16 days old. Mrs. Milfs was proceeded in death by three children, Guy, Otto and Grace, also two brothers and one sister. She is survived by seven children, Mrs. Frank Hepps, Litchfield, Mrs. George Tillatson , Mrs. Fred Edwards, and Mrs. Dean Sahli, of Youngstown, Ohio, Edward and Frank Weeks of this city and Leroy Weeks who's address is unknown, and 16 grandchildren. Her former husband , Ben F. Weeks, died recently. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the residence with Rev. Clarence Smith of Granite City officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
