Mr. Blue was born in Corsicana, Tex[as] [on] Jan[uary] 28, 1890. He came to the Rush Springs[, Oklahoma] area as a teenager. He was married to Liddie E. Clay [on] Feb[ruary] 4, 1914.
The couple moved to this area in 1921. His wife died [on] Dec[ember] 20, 1955.
Mr. Blue was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include four sons: Clay Blue [of] Portales N[ew] M[exico], Joe Blue [of] Jones[, Oklahoma], Alfred Blue [of] Humble, Tex[as], and Eddie Blue [of] Alvin, Tex[as]; a daughter: Mrs. Elwood Moser [of] Cyril[, Oklahoma]; two brothers: J. B. Blue [of] Oklahoma City[, Oklahoma], and Dr. Johnnie Blue [of] Oklahoma City[, Oklahoma]; three sisters: Mrs. Bessie Jameson [of] Dallas[, Texas], Mrs. Olive Martin [of] Tulsa[, Oklahoma], and Mrs. Blanche Alexander [of] Oklahoma City[, Oklahoma]; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
