Frank Valenta, 75, resident of Gonzales County for many years died this morning (Friday) at 2:00 o'clock. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the family residence, conducted by Rev. Peter Kolvenbach. Interment will be in the City Cemetery and the funeral will be under the direction of J. B. Tadlock and Sons.
Mr. Valenta was a native of Czechoslovakia. He was a retired farmer and had been making his home with his son, Bohus Valenta several miles south of Gonzales, where he died. He was member of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by three sons, Rudolph and Bohus Valenta of Gonzales County and Anton Valenta of Austin.
