Patrick Francis Keating died suddenly at Glen Wild on Monday, Feb. 17th, of heart disease.

Mr. Keating was born at Tannersdale (below Bridgeville) on March 17, 1858, and was 72 years old at the time of his death.

He was the son of Rose Rogers Keating and Patrick Keating. He was a stone mason by occupation and did much of the work in that section. In 1903 he married Anna Davis, the ceremony being performed in Ellenville. Surviving him are the widow, Mrs. Anna Keating, five daughters, Mrs. Michael Keller of Long Island; Mrs. Edmond Schaefer, of Long Island; Mrs. Harry Allen, of Glen Wild; Madeline Keating, of Long Island, Anna Keating, of Glen Wild, and a brother, Michael Keating, of Rock Hill.

Mr. Keating was a member of the Mountaindale Catholic Church. His funeral was held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, Monticello, and interment was in St. Peter's cemetery.

Mr. Keating was one of the fine citizens of Glen Wild. He was strictly honorable and honest.
