Madeleine Gordon, a retired stenographer for the Sullivan County Clerk and a lifetime Sullivan County resident, passed away on Thursday Jan. 22, 2004 at the Park Manor Nursing Home in Middletown, NY. She was 92.
The daughter of Patrick and Anna Davis Keating, she was born on February 27, 1911 in Glen Wild, NY. Survivors include her daughter, Judith McGowan of Circleville and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Case Gordon on June 27, 1998 and by her brother, Floyd Keating and her 4 sisters, Frances Schaefer, Alice Allen, Anne Fenner and Rose Keller.
Friends may call at Ramsay's Funeral Home 55 St. John St. Monticello on Saturday Jan. 24, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at Ramsay's Funeral Home on Sunday Jan. 25, 2004 at 2 PM.
Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery following the funeral services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rock Hill Fire Dept. or to the Rock Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
