Carl Bauer, 73, of 31249 Thirty-three Mile Road, died Monday in Bi-County Hospital, Warren,. following a short illness.
He was born Feb. 26, 1905, in Austria and lived here for 46 years. He married Margaret Rothenhauser Oct. 6, 1928 in Detroit.
Mr. Bauer formerly owned and operated Pine Ridge Lanes, until 1976. He was an area farmer for the last 46 years.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Carl Jr. and a daughter, Mrs. Delores Hill, both of Richmond; a brother, Emil, East Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Uhl and Mrs. Emelia Rettinger, both of East Detroit; and two grandchildren.
Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation in Hensch Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
