Irene D. Farrell

Irene D. Farrell, 95 years old, of Sanford, and most recently N. Berwick died Thursday evening August 7, 2003, at Varney Crossing in N. Berwick.

Mrs. Farrell was born on January 14, 1908, in Limerick, ME. She was the daughter of Paul and Malvina Bergeron Brulotte. Mrs. Farrell attended local schools, and for many years was employed by the Sanford-Goodall Mills as a Jackspooler.

In her younger years Mrs. Farrell enjoyed dancing, playing piano, and roller-skating. She led a vibrant fun-loving life. She enjoyed playing cards and games with her friends and family, and when she had some private time, she enjoyed reading a good novel.

Mrs. Farrell was a devoted catholic and communicant of Notre Dame De Lourdes Church of Springvale, ME, and also volunteered her time at St. Andres' Home in Biddeford.

Mrs. Farrell was predeceased by her husband Herman in 1975, and her sisters Albertine, and Eva.

Surviving are her daughters Patricia Adams of Sanford, Leatrice Burnham of Sanford, a son Clifford Farrell of Colorado, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday August 10, 2003 from 2 to 4 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, Springvale, ME. On Monday please meet the family for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Notre Dame De Lourdes R. C. Church of Springvale, ME. Committal services will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford, ME.
