Ora E. "Dick" Banzet, 91, of Neodesha died Wednesday morning, Nov. 13, 1996 at the Wilson County Hospital. He was born Aug. 2, 1905, at Edna to Frank and Nora Banzet. He married Elizabeth Nading in 1927 at Oswego. She died in 1995. Mr. Banzet owned and operated the Banzet Grocery Store in Bartlett and sold fence posts before retirement. He had resided at Neodesha the past several years. Survivors include a son, Norman of Mertzon, Texas; a brother, Don of Tulsa; two sisters, Marie Collins of Miami, Okla., and Eva Dunham of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; and several great- and great-great grandchildren. His son Jimmie and daughter Dixie Jean, several brothers and sisters and a grandchild preceded him in death. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lake Creek Cemetery near Bartlett under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home of Neodesha.
