Mrs. Carrie Ann Wilson, 86, of Route 2, Joplin, Mo., formerly of Huntsville, passed away at 1 o'clock December 31, at her home.
She was born at Huntsville March 25, 1881 and moved to Joplin in 1940. On October 19, 1901 she was married to George Woodward, who passed away in 1924. She later married Henry Wilson in February 1927. Mr. Wilson passed away in 1928. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Pearlie Woodward, Lincoln, Ark.; Theadore Woodward, Wichita, Kansas; Elmer Woodward, Wichita, Kansas; a daughter, Mrs. Lillie West of the home; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held January 2 in Hurlbut-Mix-Boal Funeral Home in Joplin. Burial was in the Forest Park Cemetery. Rev. Dow Boal officiated.
