In her retirement years, she lived in Dayton upstairs and in the back of the big McNeil building on Main Street. Annie was a happy woman who loved her family. She was a wonderful cook. She was always praying litanies and novenas for people and lots of special intentions. She had a long list of persons she was always praying for besides the family.

She died on 22 Oct 1968 age 68 in Robbinsdale, Hennepin, MN; North Memorial Hospital from a heart attack while in the hospital and was buried on 25 Oct 1968 in New St. John the Baptist Cemetery; Dayton, Hennepin, MN.
