Anna Marie "Annie" Fisette was born on 15 Dec 1899 in Otsego Twp, Wright, MN and was christened on 17 Dec 1899 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; Dayton, Hennepin, MN. Annie's Godparents were Frank (Cyprien) Deschesnes & Mary Bourgeois (her mother's sister). Annie always looked like her Aunt Mary.

Annie married Leon Joseph "Leo" Levasseur, son of Paul Hypolite Levasseur and Eugenie Henrietta "Jennie" Goodin, on 28 Oct 1919 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; Dayton, Hennepin, MN. Leo was born in Sep 1898 in Hassan Twp, Hennepin, MN and was christened in Dayton, Hennepin, MN; St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

She was counted in the 1930 US Census of Otsego Twp, Wright, MN; Levasseur, Annie M., wife, age 30, married, age at 1st marriage 20, able to read, write and speak English, she and both parents were born in Minnesota, living with husband, Leo and 5 children: Marvel E. 9, Estelle C. 8, Lucille A. 7, Allen E. 6, Lloyd P. 5.

This was about the time Annie and her sister Celia Demars got their large families together nearly every Sunday for meals and the kids had fun playing together. The cousins say they really enjoyed those happy and carefree days.

Leo died 27 Aug 1950, age 52, in Otsego Twp, Wright, MN and was buried in the New St. John the Baptist Cemetery; Dayton, Hennepin, MN.

In her retirement years, she lived in Dayton upstairs and in the back of the big McNeil building on Main Street. Annie was a happy woman who loved her family. She was a wonderful cook. She was always praying litanies and novenas for people and lots of special intentions. She had a long list of persons she was always praying for besides the family.

She died on 22 Oct 1968 age 68 in Robbinsdale, Hennepin, MN; North Memorial Hospital from a heart attack while in the hospital and was buried on 25 Oct 1968 in New St. John the Baptist Cemetery; Dayton, Hennepin, MN.

Leo and Annie had 8 children.
