Carrie E. Cohick, 88, of Shippensburg, formerly of Newville, died Thursday, Oct 2, 2008, in Shippensburg Health Care Center. Born Feb. 27, 1920, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of Willis and Bertha Roller Burkholder and the widow of Archie A. Cohick. She is survived by two daughters, Dianne R. (and her husband, Paul) Holtry of East Waterford and Linda K. (and her husband, John) Amtsfield of Boyertown; a son, Dale G. Cohick of Lemoyne; a daughter-in-law, Ruth A. Cohick of Newville; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Alan L. Cohick. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
