"David Clark's father was Hezekiah Clark, son of Maschal (Mascaline) and Elizabeth Clark, born c. 1758 Kent County, Delaware died 1797 Kent County, Delaware. He married Sarah born c. 1759. Residence: 1783 and 1790 Washington Co., Penn. (per U. S. census ) He was about 24 years old when David was born. Military Service Revolutionary War - 13th and 9th Virginia Reg. The war was fluid in that this Delaware boy joined Washington’s army in Pennsylvania, and served in two Virginia regiments.
