Mrs. P.M. Vavak Funeral Is Set
Schuyler - Services for Mrs. Peter M. (Anna) Vavak, 62, will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Kucera Rozanek Funeral Home in Schuyler, and 2 p.m. at Kucera Chapel in Prague with Rev. Donald Proett officiating.
Mrs. Vavak died Monday at a Norfolk hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1903, in Verdigre. She had lived in Prague before moving to Schuyler seven years ago.
On Jan. 21, 1919, she married Peter M. Vavak. He survives.
Other survivors are sons, Peter S. of Tucson, Ariz., Stanley of Grand Island, Lester of Prague, and Howard of David City; daughters, Mrs. Joe (Evelyn) Calek of Omaha, and Mrs. Joe (Delores) Havelka of Prague; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, John and Charles Liska; and sister, Mrs. Martha Polesky of Omaha.
Burial will be in Czech National Cemetery in Prague.
