OBIT of Esther Gallagher (Burns)Mrs. Esther Gallagher, wife of Thomas Gallagher, died at the family residence, 83 Lowellroad at 10:30pm Sunday, following an illness of six days from pneumonia. Mrs. Gallagher was born in England April 11, 1852. For many years she was a resident of Carnegie, Pa.,from which place she came to Sturthers with her husband and family five years ago. She enjoyed high respect on the part of all who knew her, being a great worker in St. Nicholas church and a wife and mother much devoted to her home. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her membership in St. Nicholas church, Mrs. Gallagher was identified with the L.C.B.A, the C.R.B.A and the Lady Maccabees. Surviving beside the husband are 11 children as follows: William,Hugh, Patrick, Peter, Joseph and Mary of Struthers;Martin, Charles and James of Carnegie, Pa; Edward and Thomas of International Falls,Minn. Four brothers also susrvive, they are Martin, Charles, Edward and John of Carnegie, Pa. Announcement of funeral arrangements will be made Tuesday. The family awaiting word from the sons in Minnesota.
