Alvina Grushow died at the home of her niece & nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Badgley, 240 Grand Ave., Bradley, IL. Miss Grushow was born near Toronto, Canada, Feb. 18, 1856. She came to Illinois when a young woman. She had resided at Roanoke, IL, for 40 yrs. and had resided in Bradley for the past five years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Bradley Methodist church.
One of her sisters, Sophia Grushaw (Grüschow) married Matthais Townley Badgley on May 8, 1861 at Canfield, Haldimand, Ontario, Canada and another, Louise Gruschow, married David Elk.
