Mrs. William Waggener died at her home in Burgin on Thursday of last week, of consumption. She was a Christian lady and will be sadly missed by her devoted husband and two small children. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church on Saturday by Rev. T. H. Coleman, and the interment took place in the Burgin cemetery. The large concourse that turned out to pay the last tribute of respect, showed the high esteem in which the deceased was held.

She was a good Christian woman, and will be sadly missed, not only by her husband and two small children, but by many admiring friends. Mrs. Waggener had been for several months, a sufferer of that much dreaded disease, consumption, and she bore the ravages of the grappling disease with true Christian fortitude.
