Son of Piotr "Peter" Matisiewski and Maryanna Krawczyk Matisiewski. Born in Clinton, Massachusetts. Killed in action in the Pacific during WWII.

There is monument commemorating his sacrifice located at the corner of Green Street and Routes 62/70 in Clinton.
