Jack was son of Leonard Woodruff & Mary Lorena Dunham-Elmore. He had one child by his first wife, Lanora Lee Border whom he married in 1938. He married his 2nd wife in 1942, Anna Mary Swope, and had two more children. In 1961 he married wife #3, Mattie 'Eloise' Cunningham, and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, from 1961 where he & 'Eloise' owned a restaurant called "Short Stop" along with a few other cafe's. In 1976, they moved to Edmond, Oklahoma to take care of his father. He was a member of Calvary Temple Church and he loved the Lord. He is buried next to his Mother, Mary L. Dunham-Elmore, whom he lost at an early age when she fell out of a roller coaster at Belle Isle Park in Oklahoma City.
