Born in Stafford, CT to Edward and Patty (Chaffee) Davis. Enlisted Aug 18, 1814 in Capt. Erastus Strong's Co., Col. Ezra Brainard's Connecticut Militia. Served 2 mos 11 days, demobilized in New London, Ct. (his wife later received a pension and bounty land grant based on his service).
He married Letitia Snow of Becket, MA on Oct 16, 1816.
He was a farmer. Died "suddenly" Sep 24, 1848.
He and Letitia had ten children:

3) Lucy Lucinda Davis 1821-1892
