OBITUARY OF MRS. MARILLA BROBECK

The community was saddened this week by the death of Mrs. Marilla BROBECK on Tuesday morning at the home of her son, James BROBECK. She had been in ill health for several weeks.

Mrs. BROBECK was one of the most beloved residents of Steamboat Springs and she leaves a large number of friends who mourn her passing. Mrs. BROBECK would have been 80 years of age had she lived until the 28th day of this month. She was born in East Tennessee near Greenville and lived there through the Civil war. In 1879 she and her family moved to Trinidad, Colorado, and in 1893 they moved to Steamboat Springs and have resided here since that time. Since 1901 she has lived with her son, James BROBECK.

Four children survive Mrs. BROBECK. They are James and Edward BROBECK of Steamboat, Mrs. Lucy BASHOR of Steamboat and Sebron BROBECK of Los Angeles, California.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the James BROBECK home. Rev. Clement Upham of the Congregational church will deliver the sermon.

Mrs. James BROBECK has been in Denver for medical treatment but will arrive home on tonight's train.
