ARCHER Fred. Private, 94875, Tank Corps ,16th Bn. Formerly 3090 Lincolnshire Regt. Born Horbling, enlisted Grantham. Son of Arthur and Gertie Archer, of Donington, Northorpe, Spalding. Killed in action 29th September 1918 and buried in UNICORN CEMETERY, VENDHUILE / Addition to Grave Marker [Horncastle Cem] / Horbling St Andrew

Mr. and Mrs .A, Archer on Friday received the distressing news that their son, Pte, F. Archer, had been killed in action on the Western Front. He only returned to France on Sept. 8th after several months training for service with the tanks.
