Funeral services for Patricia Patterson Boles, 83, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Crosby officiating. Burial will follow in Cleburne Memorial Park Cemetery.
There is no visitation.
Mrs. Boles passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010 in Fort Worth. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on March 25, 1927, the daughter of Bennye (Jackson) and James W. Patterson.
Pat was a librarian with the Cleburne ISD for 30 years. She was the third generation of her family to be members of the First Baptist Church of Cleburne. Pat worked in all children's organizations with the church. She had been a director of Adult Sunday School and loved the church and all her church family.
Pat was a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association and the Cleburne Public Library Board. She was a member of the DAR since 1960 and served two terms as Regent of the Nathaniel Winston Chapter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Geoffrey Ralph Boles.
Pat Boles is survived by her beloved companion, John Ward of Cleburne; cousins, Gary Bruner of Cleburne, Mary Jeanne Mahanay of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Jack Robinson of Augusta, GA, Barry Jackson of Boerne, TX, and Jo Ann Lain of Burleson, TX; and numerous friends who blessed her life as much as she blessed theirs.
