Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Elliott's Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Morgan Thompson, Elmwood Baptist pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Potosi Cemetery.
Mr. Weathers was born Feb. 11, 1911 at Gilmer. An Electrician many years, he was affiliated with Union Local 920 in Abilene.
He married Eva Lee Kirkendall at Ajo, Ariz., June 23, 1938. They moved to Taylor County in 1947 from California where he had been in defense work duringthe war.
Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Weathers of Gladewater; two brothers, Dewey of Ajo and Henry of Houston; four sisters, Mrs. Lester Blackstone of Springdale Ark., Mrs. Howard Dunigan of Gladewater, Mrs. Frank Hawkins of Gladewater, and Mrs. Nick Nicholson of Plainview.
