"Gus" Kennedy, family and Grandmother Eliza Kennedy on the 1880 Census of Anderson Co, Elkhart, Texas. In 1879 his step- uncle C.M. Quarles became his guardian for monetary rights of the Estate of his father B.F. Watts and grandfather Rufus M. Watts
for "Willie" Watts.
There is a legal deed of land from the estate of Rufus M. Watts in 1883, bequeathing a certain amount of land to Georgia C. and her brother William F. Watts, children of his son Benjamin Franklin Watts. He called him "Frank Watts".
