Survived by his wife, Maudie Scott of Walker; mother, Ola Scott of Baton Rouge; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lorri and Robert Scott of Chattanooga, Tenn., Susan Scott of New York, and Judy and Ralph Fielder of Benton, Ky.; five sons and three daughters-in-law, Curtis and Pennie Scott of Paradis, Michael and Kathy Scott of Tennessee, Steven and Cyndi Scott of New York, Jude Ruiz of Gulfport, Miss., and Sid Montz of Studio City, Calif.; a brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Lavelle Scott of Baton Rouge; 24 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
