Fern Everhart Morgan was born Jan. 23, 1904, at Eagle City, OK to Lou and Lena Everhart and died Saturday Oct. 15, 1977, at an Ada, OK hospital at age 73.

She was a lifetime resident of Watonga, where she graduated from highschool. She was an employe of Tyler's Department Store for over 20 years.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Watonga, the Oklahoma Eastern Star for over 50 years (she was a past matron). the Cedar Valley EHG, the Cheyenne Valley Quilting Club, the Past Matrons club of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was married to George Morgan at Hitchcock on Dec. 31, 1932. Her husband preceded her in death in 1961.

She is survived by her niece, Carolina Darrah, Ada and three nephews, Dr. George Beckloff of Atlanta, GA., Dr. Gerald Beckloff of Kansas City, Kans., and Dr. Ben Jones of Oklahoma City.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the First Christian Church in Watonga with Joe Wilson officiating. Burial was in the Cottonwood Cemetery at Hitchcock with Harris Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
