Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Ellis, of 271 Morton St., Ashland, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at the Litwiller Funeral Home Chapel.. The Rev. Orville Mick of the Ashland Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will be at Scenic Hills Memorial Park. Mrs. Ellis, 72, died Saturday at Ashland Community Hospital. She was born December 20, 1897, at Saline, Michigan. On September 30, 1922, she married Harvey Ellis in Saline. The Ellises later moved to Ashland from Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1947.
She was a member of the Ashland Church of Christ and had been a school teacher.
Surviving, besides her husband, are one son, Willard Ellis, Ashland; two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Vaughan, Hillsboro; Mrs. Adelia Hassett, Milwaukie; two sisters, Mrs. Meliss Derr, Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Adelia Larnee, Ann Arbor, Michigan; three brothes, Duncan Robinson, Manley Robinson and Leslie, Robinson, all of Saine; 16 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
