Austin Samuel Robison, aged 72 years, passed away Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at his home, 11700 Macon Road, after a long illness. He had been ill since giving up the Supervisor-ship of Saline Township. Mr. Robison was one of the most successful farmers in this community, had held many offices of trust, and was supervisor of Saline Township for a number of years. He was born July 10, 1867, in Saline Township, the son of Edward and Hannah Newcomb Robison. In 1895 he was married to Miss Sarah Young, who survives him. To this union six children were born and are left to mourn his departure. They are Mrs. Harvey Ellis of Saline, Mrs. Clarence Derr, Roseville; Miss Adelia at home; Duncan and Manley of Saline Township, and Leslie at home; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lettie Blair of St. Paul, Neb., and one brother, Micah Robison, Saline Township. Funeral services will be held today at 2 pm at the residence, Rev. Roy J. Miller officiating, and burial will be in Macon cemetery.
