Graveside services for Melvin Conner, 63, of American Falls, Idaho, will be conducted Friday in Aberdeen Cemetery, Aberdeen, Idaho, with Davis Mortuary directing the service.
Mr. Conner died Tuesday in Veteran's Medical Center, Roseburg, Oregon.
He was born in Bradford, Ark., and had lived in Idaho many years and was a retired chemical engineer with West Westzaga Co. He was the son of the late Hubbard and Naomi Conner. He was a major in the U.S. Army in the European theater in World War II. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and V.F.W.
Survivors: wife, Mrs. Lela Conner of American Falls, Idaho; brother Bill J. Conner of Boron, Calif., and James H. Conner of Warren, Tex.
