Services for Mrs. Naomie Conner, 74, Lufkin, widow of the late Hubbard Conner, are scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Gipson Chapel with Rev. Joe Rice officiating and burial will follow in Ryan Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Conner was born in Bradford, Arkansas, October 30, 1899 and died March 1, 1974 in Boron Citizens Hospital, Boron, Calfornia. Mrs. Conner had lived in Lufkin most of her life, and was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors: sons, Melvin H., James H., and Billy Joe; sister, Mrs. Canzady Martin of Bradford, AR.; 3 grandsons, James Henry, Warren, Monroe and Charlie Thomas, both of Boron, California; also a number of nieces and nephews.
