Mrs. Martha Collins Moorefield, 97, of Westfield, widow of William Robert Moorefield, passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at her home.
Mrs. Moorefield was born April 23, 1903, in Stokes County to the late Andrew Jack and Elizabeth Jane Snoddy Collins.
She was a homemaker and a member of Brown Mountain Baptist Church.
Survivors are three daughters and sons-in-law, Helen Durham of the home, Martha Juanita Mickey and husband Roy Lee of Westfield and Shirley Shelton and husband Robert of Westfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Moorefield and wife Peggy of Pilot Mountain; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home Chapel with visitation following the service.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Brown Mountain Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Fred Chilton and the Rev. Daryl Price.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
The Moorefield family is being served by Cox-Needham Funeral Home, Pilot Mountain.
