JAMES L. MATTINGLY, a resident of South Victoria Avenue, Corona, died Saturday at Circle City Hospital. He was 50. A Georgia native, he came to the area in 1973 from Garden Grove and was employed by General Telephone as a PBX installer. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Mattingly; one daughter, Marilyn Johnson, South Carolina; three brothers, Richard Mattingly, Pennsylvania; Gene Mattingly, Kansas; and David Mattingly, Japan; two sisters, Mildred Heath and Mary Ann Hancock, both of Florida; and two grandchildren. Grave side services will be Wednesday at 11 A.M. at Sunnyslope Cemetery. Burial will follow in the Riverside National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Charlotte Fay No. 21, and friends may call after 4 P.M. today.
