Oscar, Ole Olson, 70, northeast Kansas City, died Sunday at Truman Medical Center. He was born in Monrovia, Kan., and had lived in this area 25 years. Mr. Olson worked for the Kansas City Transportation Department before he retired. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Isabelle Olson, Kansas City; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Jo Kachman, Jonesboro, Ga.; two brothers, "Elling Olson, Columbia Mo., and Harry Butch" Olson, Monrovia; two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Greenwood, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Olson Stumph, Kansas City; and stepgrandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the O'Trimble Chapel, Effingham, Kan.; burial in the Monrovia Cemetery. Friends may call from to 12:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The family request no flowers and suggests contributions to the Monrovia Cemetery trust fund or Truman Medical Center.
