Daughter, Elva Rose Lincks Dawson b. August 27, 1919 is still living.

Jacob Lincks' family lived in Canal Fulton, Stark County, Ohio where Jacob grew up on West Market Street. He was raised by his parents in an old log cabin with a newer addition, since 8 children were born there. Later, after he worked as a motorman in Cleveland he bought his parents a new home up the hill from the log cabin.

Jacob was divorced from his 1st wife, and took his 4 children with him (John Merrill, Margaret A., Henry Alva, and Elmer Charles Lincks). They lived with Jacob's parents at the new house when Jacob was in Cleveland.

He re-married Ada Hanora McDermott in Cleveland and had three more daughters, Gertrude Eleanor Lincks Maurer, Ada Hanora II Lincks Hibler, and Elva Rose Lincks Dawson. He lived at Edwards Avenue in Lakewood, Ohio and on Riverview Avenue in Rocky River, Ohio.

After his 2nd wife Ada Nora McDermott died on 25 Oct 1952, he lived with his youngest daughter Elva Rose Lincks Dawson (my mother). He died 27 Aug 1954.

My mother's first name Elva was for his name (Alva) and her middle name, Rose was for her aunt Rose Lincks. Elva Rose Lincks Dawson was born August 27, 1918 and is still living.
