Mrs. Rose Monkovich, 65, of 10 Merrill Street, died at 12:55 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Joseph Daszewski of Johnson City, Mrs. George Hadac of Binghamton R.D. 5; Mrs. Frank Cornell and Mrs. Richard Yerger, both of Binghamton; Mrs. Walter B. Jaynes and Mrs. Lawrence Hughes, both of Endwell; five sons, John and Philip of Johnson City, Michael and Louis of Binghamton, and Pfc. Stephen of the U.S. Army in France; a sister, Mrs. John Tollack of Johnson City, two brothers, Frank Petrovsky of Binghamton and Major Andrew Petrovsky of the U.S. Army at Fort Benning, Ga.; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the J. F. Rice Funeral Home, 140 Main Street, Johnson City, where friends may call. Predeceased by two infant sons: Leon and Edmund.
