ANDREW RAY "LITTLE JOHN" SAUNDERS

Services for Dougherty native Andrew Ray "Little John" Saunders, 72, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, at the Dougherty Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow in the Dougherty Cemetery. He was born Sept. 4, 1937, in Dougherty to Charles and Etner (Duncan) Saunders and died July 24, 2010, in Katie.

In December 1958, he married Maxine Warner in Gainesville, Texas. He worked most of his life as a crane/ loader operator.

Survivors include: three daughters, Roxan Polzien of Katie, Ranee Lee of Sulphur and Tammy Vineyard of Ada; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; six sisters, and three brothers.

Services are under the direction of Hale's Funeral Home.
