"Will Be Missed"
Deana Eyre Kemp Frame, age 73, passed away peacefully at the Dixie Regional Medical Center on July 24, 2010 while surrounded by family and friends.
Deana was born on December 21, 1936 to Lawrence "Pat" Eyre and Enid Turner in Los Angeles, California. While still a young child her family moved to Murray, Utah, where her parents had lived previously. She attended school there and graduated from Murray High School in 1955.
Deana then went to work at Highland Dairy where she met Gene Kemp. They were married October 12, 1956 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They made their home in Draper, Utah. They were blessed with three sons; Korey J., William Craig, and Derek Gene. The family enjoyed fishing and other outdoor recreation.
Deana worked in the office for Garrett Freightlines for many years. She and Gene later divorced.
On May 26, 1972, Deana married Gary I. Frame. Together they raised three more children: Debra Jean, Kristi Lynn, and Terry I.
Deana enjoyed golfing, boating, four-wheeling, traveling, cooking, and raising her children. She was always known for her kindness, patience, and upbeat attitude. She enjoyed animals and always liked to have a pet. She was a avid reader and enjoyed challenging puzzles.
After the death of her husband in 1989, Deana moved to Parowan, Utah for several years and then to St. George for the warm weather. Deana was a friend to all and loved dearly by friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Debra Frame. She is survived by brother, Dal Eyre; five children, Korey J. (Mary Ann) Kemp, William Craig (Siv) Kemp, Derek Gene (Krista) Kemp, Kris (Robert) Henline, and Terry Frame. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home in Murray, Utah. Friends may call at the same location from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Murray City Cemetery under the direction of Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home.
