Aurbrey Ellis "Beef" Banderman, 71, Lonedell, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in Kirkwood.

Mr. Banderman was born Dec. 3, 1936, in St. Clair, the son of Walter Rudolph Banderman and wife Grace Clementine, nee Whitworth.

He married Dixie Ann George on Feb. 2, 1957.

Mr. Banderman was a member of Easter Lodge No. 575 A.F. & A.M. of St. Clair for more than 50 years.

He also was a member of Prospect Baptist Church in Lonedell.

Mr. Banderman worked primarily as a truck driver for J.C. George Lumber Company in St. Clair for about 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Banderman is survived by his wife Dixie, Lonedell; two sons, Steve Banderman and wife Pam, Bourbon, and Mike Banderman and wife Karen, Lonedell; six grandchildren, Stephanie Banderman, Stacy Burns and husband David and Shannon DeClue, all of Sullivan, Eugene "Gus" Banderman, Bourbon, and Jenny Ulrich and husband Jeff and Traci DeClue, all of Lonedell; eight great-grandchildren, Ben, Xavier and Alex Goly, Elli Brant, Josh and Jake Burns, all of Sullivan, and Jenna and Madison Ulrich, both of Lonedell; one brother, Teddy Joe Banderman and wife Joyce, Tarpon Springs, Fla.; one sister, Grace Ann "Baby Sister" Burnett and husband Keith, St. Clair; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 23, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with the Rev. Chauncey Clay officiating.

Interment was in Prospect Cemetery, Lonedell.

Memorials to Prospect Baptist Church Building Fund or Shriners Hospitals for Children are preferred.
