Mrs. Collins was a lifelong resident of Dexter, Laurens County. She was the daughter of the late Claude Pope and the late Rilla Braswell Pope. She was a member of Buckhorn United Methodist Church and was a life long employee of Pope and Lord Meat Processing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Benjamin "B" Collins and a son, Max Collins. She died Saturday.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Hugh and Sue Collins of Dublin, Faye and Cecil Passmore of Dexter, Jimmy and Rachel Collins of Dexter, Rev. Danny E. and Merle Collins of Dexter; her daughter-in-law, Bunnie Collins of Fayetteville; her sister, Latha Lord of Dudley; her sister-in-law, Louise Pope of Dexter; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her grandsons — Todd Collins, Brad Collins, Mark Passmore, Tim Passmore, Chris Collins, Doug Collins, Sean Collins, and Roger Lord.
