Clara Filson

Clara Filson, 101, of Point Pleasant, died Wednesday, September 23, 1992, at Pleasant Valley Hospital.

Born August 18, 1891 at Scary, WV, she was a daughter of the late Daniel T. and Eva (Sines) Wartenburg.

She was a member of the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star, Point Pleasant Chapter 75.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ross N. Filson.

Survivors include a daughter, Polly A. Adkins of Point Pleasant; a granddaughter, Linda L. Oats of Point Pleasant; two grandsons, Gregory Adkins of Germany and Bruce Adkins of Cross Lanes and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 26, at 11 a.m. at Kirkland Memorial Gardens with Rev. Louis Hussell officiating. There will be no visitation.

Arrangements are under the direction of Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant.
