Married Mary Frances Stephenson. Father of James Bradford, Ella, Oliver, Lillie (Martindale), Mary Ethel, Vertie, Clarissa (Miller), and Horace.

Civil War Veteran, served with Capt. Martin T. Reel's Provisional Company A, E.M.M. 51st Regiment. Signed up with his elder brother, Bedford B Hulett.
