He was born in Campbellton the son of the late Willian Angevine and the late Alma Jean Downs.
He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1952 and served as an Integral Systems Technician for 25 years, and after retiring in 1976, enjoyed pastimes like camping and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Vera Christine (Murray), his son, Eric (Christine) Cameron, his grand-daughter, Courtney of Calgary, his sister, Verna Munroe of Campbellton, her brothers, Bill (Johan) of Campbellton, Frank (Carolyn) of Nepean, Ontario, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Orville.
