Julia died of malarial typhoid.
Born in Lignières, Neuchâtel, Switzerland to David Monnier & Elisabeth L'Allemande. In 1821 the family emigrated to the Selkirk Settlement (Red River Colony) in Manitoba, Canada. David died in 1823 on the migration from Canada to St Louis, MO. He's said to have been buried in Prairie Du Chien, Crawford, WI.
