Monrovia Note
Mrs. Lizzie Wilson and cildren, Paris and Stella, of St Joe, and her daughter, Mrs. Mamie Butner, of Highland, attended the funeral of her mother, Mrs. Geo Donovan, last Friday. It was necessary to postpone Mrs. Donovan's funeral from 2 to 3 o'clock in that the water in the creek east of Monrovia would go down enough to enable the Willis Bishop family to get across. Monrovia was surrounded on three sides for a few hours Friday morning.
