CLAUDE MCKINNEY SERVICES HELD SUNDAY
Last rites for Claude Ira McKinney, 76, were held Sunday at the Swengel Funeral Home, with Rev. Leland Bear officiating. Burial was in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Jay Keller accompanied Dale Young, who sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and Good Night and Good Morning." Pallbearers were Max Gordon, Elmer Gentry, Walter Coen, Ray Bell, Walter Odle and Nathan Stewart. Mr. McKinney died at 6:15 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Hospital, Effingham. He was born Feb. 25, 1884 in Neoga, a son of Henry P. and Mary Jane Hines McKinney. He never married. Surviving are four brothers, Fred, Gilbert, and Vernon of Neoga, and Ralph of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
